About Me

I’m Valerie Comer, and if you’re interested in one Christian’s take on green issues (especially local foods), reviews on inspirational fiction (mostly fantasy, romance, or women’s fiction), or a writer’s journey toward publication, you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve been writing fiction since 2002 and am currently on the lookout for an agent and/or traditional publishing house. Novels ready for a home include:

Domino’s Game, an inspirational environmental romance complete at 83,000 words

A feisty environmentalist bent on creating a network of local food falls for the fast-food-junkie reluctant farmer next door.

Joy Comes in the Morning, an inspirational romance complete at 57,000 words

An artist, reunited with her abducted child after ten years, falls in love with the police officer who brings her daughter home, but his adolescent twins are split between allowing him to love again and clinging to their mother’s memory.

Majai’s Fury, a fantasy complete at 100,000 words

An herbalist with something to hide escapes into the reluctant arms of a foreign doomsday prophet when her high-born lover brushes too near the truth.

I blog here three times a week:
Monday = Green Bite, anything that relates to living a life friendlier to the environment
Wednesday = Review Bite, reviews on mostly current Christian fiction releases
Friday = Writing Bite, with an occasional foray into farm and family news

Although my blog uploads to both Twitter and Facebook, you may wish to subscribe to my news feed here.
