I’m Valerie Comer. If you’re interested in exploring the intersection of food and faith, you’ve come to the right place.
I’m passionate about real food and firmly believe it’s a topic God wants close to the hearts of Christians. I put feet (and hands!) to my faith on a small farm in western Canada, where my family and I grow and preserve much of our own food. We’re active in local foods initiatives and our creation-care-centric church.
My fiction also hangs out at the intersection of food and faith. Topaz Treasure, my first inspirational romance novella, released in May, 2012. It’s included in a collection called Rainbow’s End from Barbour Publishing. I explore one small aspect of food and faith in this contemporary romance novella with geocaching themes.
I blog here twice a week. You may wish to subscribe to my RSS news feed here, or sign up for email notification over on the sidebar. I’d be honored if you’d sign up for my monthly e-newsletter. (There’s a free gift!)
