Welcome to my kitchen!

I love food.

I love fresh food in season as well as preserved for enjoyment in the off season. With a 40-acre farm (think beef, pork, chicken, and eggs), a large garden (think vegetables, berries, and herbs), 75 hives of bees (think honey!), and access to a vibrant local foods community and farmers’ market (think grain, tree fruit, lamb, organic milk and cheese, and a vast variety of vegetables), I’m blessed to be able to find much of what we consume within a few minutes of home. We believe in local food at our house.
