Meanwhile, I’ve been keeping busy with helping judge a contest, participating in a Submission Package Workshop at Forward Motion….

Family Week
My daughter’s family visited this past week and, as always, we had a lovely time together. We see a bit more of my son’s family when they come, too. We took a hike along a creek on Tuesday, which was more like a meander with a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 2.5-year-old! Then we had…

Our Oceanside Vacation
Jim and I returned home a couple of days ago from nearly three weeks on Vancouver Island, and I wanted to share some of the photos I took on our trip. It was so hard to choose a manageable number from the over two thousand images, but here are some of the highlights. The first…

Father’s Day
We went for a drive up the lake today in order to hike along Lockhart Creek. This was a much easier hike than the hike we did a couple weeks ago! It was pleasant along the creek, sunny but in the shade with a bit of breeze. Then, because we weren’t ready to head home…
