Back from camping
We spent four days camping along this lake in a group of nearly fifty of hubby’s extended family. There was lots of fishing, swimming, canoeing and just goofing off in the water. The water temperature was about 73 degrees Fahreheit so pleasant on these hot days. The first night I was too hot to sleep…

Simple Smile 42
My little grandgirls are growing! My BIG smile this past week was having the entire family together for several days and having a photo shoot done. You can see more family photos at my daughter’s blog.

Happy anniversary to me
…er, and Jim. However, he’s been out of town since Monday and won’t be home until tomorrow. Twenty-six years ago today over a hundred people gathered in beautiful Nelson, BC, to witness our vows. We were young (some say cradle robbers! :P) but believed that we had the love that would stand the test of…

Anniversary dinner…backfires!
Some things are so totally not worth it. We decided to drive to a city two hours away for our anniversary dinner. It would give us time to talk, do a little shopping, and have a nice meal somewhere we don’t exactly frequent. I’d made up my mind that, having lost 30 pounds in the…

Family Christmas
It was great having everyone home for the better part of Christmas week. It snowed most days, which was okay *most* days. More photos to follow. Hope you had a happy Christmas surrounded by those you love and remembering what is important in life and eternity.

Home Again
We got home late last night. Saturday morning my hubby and my son-in-law flew into Victoria and we all spent the afternoon at Beacon Hill Park and the waterfront. It was quite windy and cloudy, but not pouring rain so not a problem. We enjoyed wandering the shore and even saw a sea otter, as…
