This photo is one I took seven years ago about this time of year at Butchart Gardens near Victoria, BC. Daffodils, tulips, and more were arrayed in all their splendor, heralding springtime.
Today is Good Friday… and Easter is coming! This weekend is the most consummate picture of spring. Good Friday represents the old ways. The cold winter, the negative, the pain, the death.
But the old is gone!
A new life has begun. Jesus rose again. He brings spring in our lives. He delivers hope, restoration, and life. New life.
As an author, I have the distinct privilege of portraying hope, restoration, and life through the lives of fictional people. I’m now near the one-third mark of Plum Upside Down, the fifth Farm Fresh Romance, and I am in grateful awe of the honor God has given me to tell these stories.
Are you in need of hope and restoration? Let God bring new life to you this Easter.
