This week we’re harvesting walnuts! What a bumper crop, around one hundred pounds so far. If they land still encased in their green husk, we just step on them and slide the husk off. Guess I will need more walnut recipes.
My little grandgirls are growing! My BIG smile this past week was having the entire family together for several days and having a photo shoot done. You can see more family photos at my daughter’s blog.
Yesterday my family was here for Thanksgiving. With my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and two grephews as well as our kids and grandgirls, we had a lovely turkey dinner and plenty of visiting. My niece made macarons and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Definitely much to be thankful for (not just the food!) and therefore… my smile…
My biggest smile this week is for the cover of my next book, Sweetened with Honey. Didn’t Hanna at Book Cover Bakery do an amazing job?
A few days ago, my daughter (and cover artist!) and I had all the books out that we’ve done together. My little granddaughters were delighted to be allowed to look at and “read” Grandma’s books that Mommy made pretty. But, do keep in mind that Majai’s Fury is NOT meant to be a kids’ or…
