My daughter’s family visited this past week and, as always, we had a lovely time together. We see a bit more of my son’s family when they come, too. We took a hike along a creek on Tuesday, which was more like a meander with a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 2.5-year-old! Then we had a picnic by the lake and the girls had a grand time playing for several hours with rocks and branches. It’s still too cold to go in the water! Sorry I didn’t get photos of this part of our week.
The grandgirls spent many hours out on the trampoline, but got a bit sidetracked one morning when a “new” swing set arrived.
Finally, they could swing and slide to their hearts’ content… but I’ll let you in on a little secret. They still spent more time on the trampoline than the swings over the remainder of the visit!
It’s always busy when the whole family is together! Now it’s back-to-work for the grandparents (and the parents)! Still writing away on Plum Upside Down, the fifth Farm Fresh Romance.
