Just a quick post to let you know that I’ve completed the first draft of my ninth complete novel! (My tenth complete first draft was my novella.)
Check Mate is the second book in my proposed Green Acres series, of which the first book, Domino’s Game, is currently out seeking its fortune. This series revolves around three young women just out of college who attempt to bring a green mentality to their new community in northern Idaho, but their neighbors’ resistance makes them doubt they’ll ever find guys willing to share in their sustainable farming efforts.
You know I love to promote local food, so this series is one way I hope to do that.
Still, I’m excited to be off on a new project in January! More on that later. 😀
