Goals for 2019

I’m really excited about 2019! I’m excited about telling the stories of redemption and hope and, yes, romance that God is laying on my heart. Not just stories for you, dear reader, but stories for me, that I need to work through. Is it strange that my daily writing time is a time specifically spent with God as He speaks to me? I hope and pray that’s evident in the tales themselves.

So what’s in store for 2019? I’ve got two series on the go (again!) and need to make solid progress on both of them in 2019 AND 2020 to bring them both to completion. Note to self: no chasing shiny ideas that aren’t part of these series! Focus, girl, focus. So here’s the plan:

Write 6 and publish 5 novels in 2019.

Writing Goals for 2019 (330,000 words)

• Dances on Daydreams (55,000 words – Urban Farm Fresh Romance 7)

• Visions of Valentines (55,000 words – Urban Farm Fresh Romance 9)

Publishing Goals for 2019 (270,000 words)

• February: Raindrops on Radishes (55,000 words – Urban Farm Fresh Romance 6)
• April: The Cowboy’s Romantic Dreamer (55,000 words – Montana Ranches Christian Romance 3)
• June: Dances on Daydreams (55,000 words – Urban Farm Fresh Romance 7)
• August: The Cowboy’s ?? (55,000 words – Montana Ranches Christian Romance 4)
• October: Chickens in Chicory (55,000 words – Urban Farm Fresh Romance 8)

Why the discrepancy? Mostly that I plan to release Visions of Valentines early in January, 2020. Late fall isn’t the best time to publish a non-Christmassy title, either, so I figure on sitting on that one for an extra month or so. Unless, you know, that fifth Montana Ranches turns out to be a Christmas tale, in which case all bets are off and rearrangements will be made. 😉

My narrator has penciled in the first three for early in 2019, so I’m hopeful we can get these audiobooks out soon!
