We had a Grandgirl Week recently! Because our yard was covered half in snow and half in mud (no lie!) the girls spent more time than usual inside. One of the things I’ve meant to do for a long time was dig out the china tea set I had as a young girl and create a tea party for the girls. This was the perfect week to do just that.
It was fun having all the grandgirls in the kitchen as we made no-bake cookies together.
Yes, all of them. Although one slept through the excitement.
Only one of the grandgirls has staying power. This one (Rosalie, age five) is super interested in all things cooking.
They’re all into all things eating! I made chamomile tea and served them. Repeatedly, as the porcelain teacups hold about 2-3 tablespoons each!
Last time we had the tea set out was much too long ago, in the fall of 2012. Poor SweetPea had to share with the stuffies back then, as her sister and cousin weren’t big enough to enjoy it. See? Even the same table!
Well, maybe Rosalie enjoyed it a little bit, but Willow didn’t see the point.
Still, we made memories and enjoyed being together back then… and now!

Thanks… but you do remember I didn’t bring the tea set out for over four years, right? Does that just make it more special? LOL
