The month of May is the setting for both Mother’s Day and my birthday. This year, I hit the Big Six-Oh, and that called for a bit of a celebration! My daughter offered a quick photo shoot with my grandgirls and me, and I was happy to take her up on the offer! And the above is what you get when you ask four girls to kiss Grandma. The toddler got in on it a few minutes later, but the others were done, LOL.
Now I have to show you the girls’ get-up. I didn’t realize how wildly they were dressed until Hanna sent the photos over. They are such individuals!
I love the toothless grins on these faces! The three girls on the left are Hanna’s daughters: SweetPea (age 9), Rosalie (age 7), and Jellybean (age 28 months). The girl on the right is Joel’s daughter, Willow, who’ll be 7 in July. These are definitely cousins who enjoy spending a lot of time together, especially on the trampoline outside or coloring inside.
I enjoyed lots of Toddler Time the weekend my daughter’s family visited. Here Jellybean and I are looking at the family photo book of when she was a baby. It’s fascinating!
And life with a toddler would not be complete without some nose poking.
If you’d like to see how the littles have changed, feel free to check out the family tab here. Next week I’ll share with you some insights into a grandmother’s relationship with her grandgirls. I’ve been pondering…
Those are some lovely pictures. Thank you for sharing all the cuteness.
You’re welcome! I couldn’t keep it to myself 🙂
