If you’re Canadian, today is the day to be thankful. If you’re not Canadian, it’s still a good idea! What have you got to be thankful for?
I’m thankful for:
~ a cute and funny granddaughter (with whom I’ll be spending a few cherished days this week).
~ a new grandbaby coming in a few months.
~ my kids and kids-in-law–treasures, all four of them.
~ my husband, who is there for me every time I need him.
~ my home, warm and dry and full of conveniences much of the world has never heard of.
~ my health, which I’m learning not to take for granted.
~ a bountiful garden, many full canning jars, and packed freezers.
~ beautiful summer and fall weather with lots of chances to go camping.
~ living in one of the most gorgeous places on earth.
~ my novella contract with Barbour.
~ my friends, who’ve been here for me this year no matter what I’ve needed.
~ my agent, who is working very hard on my behalf.
~ life, beauty, vision, sunshine, and air.
~ Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation.
And that doesn’t begin to cover how thankful my heart is this October! What are YOU thankful for?

Hey Keli, thanks! And it’s definitely something to be thankful for. 🙂 We had a great BUSY long weekend.
