Jewel Lake is a fictional town not far from Missoula in western Montana. It’s the setting of the Pot of Gold Geocaching Romance series which overlaps in timeline with the Cavanagh Cowboys Romance series. You can enjoy either series without the other, but you’ll see some crossover characters in the church and town, in particular, if you get invested in Jewel Lake!
The Sweet River Ranch Romance series is also set near Jewel Lake, so once again, you’ll run into some Cavanaghs and some townsfolk you know and hopefully love! In this series, 80-year-old Walter Sullivan has just discovered he fathered a daughter over 50 years ago and has two more grandsons than he knew about. So he does the logical thing (for him, anyway): he buys a guest ranch in western Montana and sends all six of his grandsons there to help him turn the place into a going concern. Money is no object, though I’m not playing up the billionaire aspect of the Sullivan clan.
What’s to love about the first installment, A Surprise Wedding for the Cowboy?
• He’s a sudden dad to a toddler after his brother’s death
• He’s overwhelmed with his grandfather’s new project
• He needs a nanny
• He played Peter in the passion play in Her Unlikely Hero
• She’s a ‘good girl,’ but not sure she wants to remain one
• She’s desperate to find purpose and love
• Instalove is a thing
• A quickie marriage seems like a good idea
• But… is it really?
About A Surprise Wedding for the Cowboy
A sudden dad in need of a nanny.
A desperate good girl in need of direction.
Who thought a quick marriage was a good idea?
Everything hit all at once. Tate Sullivan became the guardian of his young nephew after his brother’s death, and now Grandfather has bought a failing guest ranch in Montana. Tate’s used to handling their hotel empire, but moving halfway across the country and learning an entirely new, rural business model is a challenge, especially with a toddler in tow.
Nice girls finish last… or that’s what it seems like to Stephanie Simpson when her ex-boyfriend, a pastor, proposes to a former bad girl. It’s not that Stephanie wants her ex to rethink his life choices, but would it be so wrong to move on as swiftly as he has? A quick wedding to that cute wannabe cowboy with the adorable toddler might get her what she wants. After all, it’s clear Tate needs a helping hand.
He’s a Christian, just like she is. What could possibly go wrong?
A Surprise Wedding for the Cowboy is now available on Amazon, via Kindle Unlimited and in paperback.
