There’ve been a lot of requests for more Farm Fresh stories set on Green Acres Farm in northern Idaho, so I envisioned another series set in nearby Galena Landing. Characters you love from the original series will pop in and out of this new series, so you’ll catch glimpses of Jo and Zach, Claire and Noel, Sierra and Gabe, Allison and Brent, Chelsea and Keanan, and Liz and Mason… and all their families!
But their stories have already been told, so this new series focuses more on the small town itself and the farmers market it holds every Saturday over the summer months. You can bet the original Farm Fresh characters will be all over that idea!
First off, we’ve brought in Brittany Santoro from the Bridgeview neighborhood of Spokane. If you’ve read the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series (especially book 11, Joys of Juniper), you’ll remember Brittany. But… she’s been harboring some secrets, and those have sent her into exile in this small town for six months. Then, if she behaves herself, she’ll get the referrals she wants and needs to move to New York and make her mark on the world. But first, Galena Landing…
Where she finds herself working in the same town hall office as Treyan Ackerman, a divorced father of a five-year-old. From hostility to grudging respect to… more… you’ll love seeing Brittany and Treyan’s fish-out-of-water, opposites-attract story come to life on the page.
I’m planning six books in the Farm Fresh Market Romance series. Six longer books of a more similar length to the original series. We’re also going back to audio for this series, so I hope you jump in and get comfy in Galena Landing! There’s a place for you at the Farm Fresh Market 🙂
About A Wide and Pleasant Place
He knows he’s stuck in this small town.
She hopes it’s a stopover on her way to NYC.
If Treyan Ackerman wants to keep seeing his daughter on weekends, he needs to stay put, keep his nose clean, and not make waves. Thankfully, he has a decent, if somewhat tedious, job in his small town’s municipal office. If the mayor would let him tackle some of the graphics for the farmers market, it would help. But, no. Instead, she hires a vivacious city girl who turns Trey’s head. Unfortunately.
Brittany Santoro needs to redeem her reputation, rebuild her portfolio, and relocate, preferably to New York, where a top ad agency will appreciate her graphics design genius. But if she doesn’t want the whole world to know about her indiscretions, she needs to spend six months in podunk Galena Landing, furnishing artwork and ads for the town’s tourism marketing, including its farmers market. Too bad the brooding, hunky man in her office seems immune to her charms.
But when Brittany connects with Trey’s hurting daughter and sees the tender side of him, all bets are off. How can these two wounded souls be nudged into the realization that everything they want and need is right here in this wide and pleasant place?
A Wide and Pleasant Place is for sale as an ebook on Amazon and available to borrow on Kindle Unlimited. The paperback is available on Amazon and many other retailers. The audiobook is coming soon, summer of 2022.
