Welcome back to Bridgeview and the beloved Santoro family!
Alex Santoro has been a popular cast member since he dated Linnea back in the second book, Butterflies on Breezes. Of course, his attempt at romancing Linnea was ill-fated from the beginning, but we did see a young man with a big heart and a solid work ethic. A guy who was really trying to look out for others and do the right thing.
In Wishes on Wildflowers, we see Alex as a new homeowner with the grudging respect of his older brother and sister. And in Raindrops on Radishes, we see his relationship with his cousin Peter develop as Peter lives in Alex’s house and uses the lot for his business, Bridgeview Backyards.
So I don’t think it’s an understatement to say that fans have been waiting for Alex’s story!
I had to do quite a bit of poking to see what character flaw he was hiding. What his personal growth arc might look like. No hero (or heroine) can be perfect, after all. That’s unrealistic and off-putting. Maybe… just maybe, his very good characteristics could be taken too far, though. That was definitely worth looking at and playing with!
Each addition to the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series must have a link to gardening or farming in the city. In this case, the heroine, Marley Montgomery has moved into the neighborhood with a few too many chickens that she’s very attached to!
About Glimpses of Gossamer
Artist Marley Montgomery finally thrives in her inherited rundown cottage with its overgrown yard, but there are rules about how many rescue chickens fit on her urban lot. Too bad the cute but uptight accountant next door is friends with the animal control officer.
Alex Santoro prefers things orderly and by-the-book, but his waif-like new neighbor offers a glimpse into a simpler lifestyle that is surprisingly intriguing. Maybe it’s the whimsical art she creates. Maybe it’s the wild beauty emerging in her unkempt yard. Or maybe Alex is simply falling in love with a pretty girl who’s unlike anyone he’s ever known.
How can Marley trust her secrets and fragile wings to the man who has everything?
Glimpses of Gossamer is currently available only on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited for the foreseeable future.
