Welcome back to Jewel Lake, Montana!
Kiss Me Like You Mean It, Cowboy is the fourth story in the Cavanagh Cowboys Romance series. It’s also the most significant event where I’ve taken someone who’s been a secondary or tertiary character throughout a series then moved him or her to a different series for their own happily-ever-after.
Why would I do this?
A couple of reasons!
One of those, yes, is to encourage readers of one series (in this case, the Urban Farm Fresh Romances) to try out my cowboy stories if you haven’t already done so. I’ve heard some of you say you “don’t read cowboys.” And I get that. I do. There are sub-genres I don’t prefer to read, either!
Another reason is that I wasn’t quite finished with the Santoro cousins yet, though the Urban series was very complete in my mind. So, I took the option of pulling Dafne over to Jewel Lake… and Brittany to Galena Landing in A Wide and Pleasant Place, releasing later this spring.
If you like my writing style, you’ll find the same voice in my cowboy romances, too. They’re full of engaging characters, strong communities, deep faith, and sweet romance. The cowboy stories are a little lighter on foodie themes than the farm-fresh style stories I started out with, but those ideals are definitely not absent, just a little less obvious.
So, if you’ve enjoyed the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series but have been leery of my cowboy romances, I invite you to come on over and see what Dafne Santoro is up to in Jewel Lake. With any luck (says me LOL) you’ll want to find out more about all of the Cavanagh brothers.
About Cavanagh Cowboys Romance series
Declan Cavanagh runs Rockstead Ranch with tight reins, causing a rift between him and his second wife, stirring rebellion in his teen twin daughters, and seeding conflict between his boys. But his six sons and stepsons are determined to shuck their father’s tyranny and find honor, hope, and love, each in his own way. Join the Cavanagh cowboys as they rope in romance in this Montana Ranches Christian romance series!
About Kiss Me Like You Mean It, Cowboy
A single mom who doesn’t give in.
Blake Cavanagh is determined not to be like his father, so he’ll play the field and never settle down at all. It’s a bit daunting stringing along three women at once, but he’s up for the task. When Blake sees one of his girlfriends in line at the coffee shop, he sneaks up behind her.
Dafne Santoro — single mom, new teacher, and city girl — is new to small-town Jewel Lake. She’s not expecting to be accosted at the Copper Carafe, and her jiu jitsu training kicks in. She might exchange fervent apologies with the handsome cowboy as she helps him off the floor, but let him make it up to her with a date? Not happening.
Blake’s not going to give up so easily, and Dafne’s not about to give in. What will it take to get this cowboy and this teacher on the same page?
Psst: This story takes place several years after the close of the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series.
