Finally! A new title in the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series! I can’t believe it was 11 months between books two and three. My apologies, and I hope that never happens again. I have so many stories to tell in this series that I can’t afford to take that long, and I can’t expect you to be patient!
I’ve known all along that this third full-length volume would be Adriana’s story. She and her children, Sam (8) and Violet (7), played minor roles in Secrets of Sunbeams (book one) and Butterflies on Breezes (book two), but a larger role in the prequel novella, Promise of Peppermint, released in March. (So maybe it hasn’t been a full 11 months!)
A single mom with two school-aged kids. A widow whose husband died a hero as a firefighter. An extrovert who’s active in her church and community. A series with a focus on locally grown food in an urban setting. Hmm. Who was the right kind of man to pair with her?
And then Myles Sheridan strolled into my mind. A conflict-avoiding teacher who loves working with younger grades. And not only could there be conflict between Myles and Adriana, but between Myles and his most challenging student, Violet. Oh… and between Myles and the principal, who’s trying to keep her school running without anyone rocking the boat. And so Memories of Mist came to life.
As memories linger in the past,
so dreams stretch toward the future.
Single mom Adriana Diaz isn’t about to let the new teacher derail the PTA’s hard work in securing a greenhouse and garden area for Bridgeview Elementary School, but taking matters into her own hands turns awkward when she realizes her attraction to the teacher.
Pro-level conflict-avoider Myles Sheridan finds himself against an entire community with his reluctance to incorporate gardening into his classes. The only thing that could make his situation worse is falling in love with the ringleader, whose child is his most difficult student and whose husband had died a hero.
How can Myles compete with the man from Adriana’s memories? He’s not the material champions are made of. Or is he?
Memories of Mist is available on Kindle, Kobo, Nook, Google Play, and iBooks. Coming any day in paperback and on Christian Book Distributors.

Well, that explains why it wasn’t familiar :).
Valerie Comer says
Not sure what you mean? What explains it?
Margaret McGaffey Fisk says
I thought I mentioned that when I was reading the newsletter for this series that I wasn’t sure if I’d gotten Memories of Mist because I didn’t recognize it. Maybe I didn’t say anything, but the problem has been rectified. I now have the complete set.
Valerie Comer says
Gotcha! And thank you. I hope you enjoy.
