Perhaps I should say, reintroducing this story! It first released in 2014 as the second half of Snowflake Tiara. I’d hoped to rerelease it in the fall of 2015 as a solo title, but… life intervened, and I was unable to complete the sequel. So I put it off for a year, and here we are!
In 2014, I thought I’d told the entire story, and I had… Marisa’s story, that is. But since then, I’ve come to enjoy writing series so much that I felt compelled to return to Helena and search for more stories to tell. This resulted in my new Christmas in Montana Romance series.
The most obvious character who needed a happy ending is Marisa’s friend, Bren, who is the single mom of two in Tiara. Once the ideas began to flow and the titles for books two and three clicked in my mind, I couldn’t wait to get rolling! Book two is with my editor and will be ready for an early November release.
Meanwhile, it’s Tiara‘s turn in the spotlight once again. It is currently on pre-order for 99 cents and will release on October 6. Don’t you love the new cover? My daughter and cover designer did a custom photo shoot with a friend of hers to capture this image, then added the title, the tiara, and the fun sparkly bits. I love how festive it turned out, plus how closely Jane matches my original vision for my character Marisa. You can see my inspiration board for More than a Tiara here.
Marisa Hiller abandoned her modeling career to nurse a broken heart in Montana, far from the photographer who ruined everything. Her family farm is now part of a CSA program teaching gardening and cooking to single moms, but when the coordinator begs her to represent the program in the Miss Snowflake Pageant, Marisa balks.
Jase Mackie has long regretted the hot accusations he’d flung at Marisa over two years before. God has forgiven him but hasn’t answered his prayer to bring Marisa back into his life… until Jase finds himself out West as the official photographer for a beauty pageant, face to face with the woman he’s never forgotten.
Can Jase make amends for past mistakes and offer Marisa not only a tiara, but a partner in her crusade to help needy children and families?
