The big question is, when is a collection of novellas written by various authors not a box set? You know I’ve participated in quite a few in the past several years (Love Brings Us Home, Splash, Summer of Love, Home for Christmas, Love’s Gift…). All but one of these has disbanded, and We’ve Only Just Begun may not last much longer, so if you haven’t read my novel that started it all, Raspberries and Vinegar, don’t delay! But I digress.
Romance Grows in Arcadia Valley LOOKS the same from the outside, but it’s different on the inside, in four main ways.
1. Each of the six novellas in the collection is set in the fictional town of Arcadia Valley, Idaho. You’ll find overlapping characters, events, and settings.
2. Each of the six novellas is the prequel to a three-novel (not novella) series set in Arcadia Valley. Each author chose one aspect of the foodie movement to center her series around. As a group, we have one novel releasing every single month through July, 2018.
3. Romance Grows in Arcadia Valley is planned to be a longterm, ongoing collection and will be available in paperback.
4. Because this is a big project with lots of books, we set up a website for it. Over there, you’ll find out more about the series each author is working on, plus the cover and description of the first book in her series.
