Welcome back to Saddle Springs, Montana, for the fifth romantic adventure involving the ranching families near this fictional western town.
I have mixed feelings, since there’s only one more Saddle Springs Romance to come. I’ve had such a great time creating and writing this series, I kind of hate to have it come to an end! But on the other hand, I’m still writing the twelve-book Urban Farm Fresh Romance series three years after the first book released, so maybe six books in a series is enough!
Plus, that leaves room for one or two additional Montana Ranches series. Yep, you heard it here first. But, since that’s far way in later 2020 or (more likely) 2021, let’s not get too excited. Yet. Just know that in my spare time (ha!) I’m noodling on more ideas. More series. More romantic cowboy stories, as well as more farm fresh romances. **cracks knuckles**
Back to The Cowboy’s Belated Discovery. One of my goals for this series was to explore various romance tropes. Tropes are those things readers instantly recognize and know whether the story line is something they’ll probably like. Do you love second chances and single parent stories? Check out The Cowboy’s Christmas Reunion. Do you love matchmaker stories and friends-to-more? Check out The Cowboy’s Mixed-Up Matchmaker. Do you love opposites attract stories? Check out The Cowboy’s Romantic Dreamer. Do you love marriage of convenience stories? Check out The Cowboy’s Convenient Marriage.
Love epiphany romances? Then The Cowboy’s Belated Discovery will be right up your alley. It took me a while to figure out (as it always does…) why Garret Morrison would resist romance. He showed up in the very first page of the very first Saddle Springs Romance, and readers have loved him ever since, waiting (somewhat) patiently for him to fall in love. So why wouldn’t he simply fall for Tori Carmichael and they’d ride off into the sunset?
Because then it wouldn’t be an epiphany romance, or much of a plot at all. So there had to be more involved.
About The Cowboy’s Belated Discovery
Tori Carmichael has been in a holding pattern since her dad’s debilitating accident. Now that the family’s ranch resort is on stable footing again, she’s ready for her future, but her plan to become a teacher dims in the glow of her dreams about the newest cowboy in Saddle Springs. Too bad there seems little sign Garret will ever return her interest.
Garret Morrison had planned to resume his music career after taking time to regroup from a shattered relationship, but his aging parents need his help with their riding stable. He pours himself into worship ministry at the local church, avoiding starry-eyed Tori for her own good. Every woman he’s loved has left him, one way or another, and he can’t face the possibility one more time.
What will it take for Garret to discover that love is worth the risk? And will that realization come too late to save what might have been?
The Cowboy’s Belated Discovery is currently available only on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited for the foreseeable future.
