Welcome back to Saddle Springs, Montana, where cowboys ride the ranges, mend fences, and are lassoed by romance.
I had a lot of fun setting up this story. The hero, Trevor Delgado, is the older brother of Kade in the first Montana Ranches novel, The Cowboy’s Christmas Reunion. As I wrote Reunion, I pondered what made Trevor the grumpy, single, big brother who lived by himself in a huge house and worked for his dad at Eaglecrest Ranch. He seemed very protective of his kid brother. Why? I found delving into Trevor’s backstory very interesting!
Meanwhile, I’d also been creating the heroine, Denae Archibald, over several stories. She first appeared as Lauren’s neighbor and friend in the second Montana Ranches romance, The Cowboy’s Mixed-Up Matchmaker. But I had great fun rounding out her personality and background in my recent Urban Farm Fresh Romance release, Raindrops on Radishes, where she was featured as Sadie Guthrie’s childhood friend. Denae’s a romance editor always spouting advice, but what does she really know?
Oh, yes. Writing Denae and Trevor’s story was a great pleasure, and it released a few days ago.
About The Cowboy’s Romantic Dreamer
She has big hopes. He’s forgotten how to dream. Burned by love, Trevor Delgado has pushed aside all his personal dreams in favor of expanding his family’s ranching empire in western Montana. That’s what any hardworking, dependable firstborn son should do, right? He’s not lonely, just solitary. All he needs is a saddle beneath him, the mountain breeze on his face, and no time to think.
Editing hundreds of romance novels has made Denae Archibald an expert on love. She knows how it’s supposed to go… and tall, dark and mysterious Trevor Delgado is exactly her kind of hero. If only her issues weren’t enough to send any worthy cowboy galloping for the range.
How can the romantic dreamer and the guarded cowboy kindle their hopes for a future together?
The Cowboy’s Romantic Dreamer is currently available only on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited for the foreseeable future.
