You’re right! I’ve been totally negligent in posting my book introductions. This one has been out for a while now and finishes off the six-book Cavanagh Cowboys Romance series.
What do I love about Ryder Cavanagh and Carey Anderson’s story? So many things!
• She’s three years older than he is
• They’re both kids of divorced parents
• He’s the youngest son and feels he has a lot to prove
• She’s his stepbrothers’ cousin
• He’s sure she’ll never look twice at him
• She’s wondering if he’ll ever make a move
• And… there’s a big secret he’s keeping from her!
If you’ve read the previous five titles in this series, you’ll know what Ryder is up to and how he’s trying to clear up a niggling mystery for his stepbrothers – not that they’ve asked him to. An investigation that involves their uncle, Carey’s dad.
You’ll also have seen Ryder’s dad and stepmom’s marriage turn sour over the series, but there have been hints of redemption. You’ll get a closer look at what they’ve been dealing with through Trust Me With Your Heart, Cowboy… and it sets up a newsletter-exclusive short story about Declan and Kathryn 18 months after this story closes. If you missed Keep Me in Your Vows, Cowboy, you can read it here… but note that it won’t be nearly as satisfying if you haven’t read the series first!
About Trust Me With Your Heart, Cowboy
He’s investigating her father.
She doesn’t know.
Can truth and love coexist?
Ryder Cavanagh yearns to be seen as more than a tagalong kid brother, so he invites his law-student buddy to assess rumors involving his stepbrothers’ uncle. Ryder doesn’t stand a chance with the suspect’s beautiful daughter, anyway. Ryder is several years younger, and then there’s the family connection.
But Carey Anderson is not immune to the unassuming cowboy. She’s back in Jewel Lake to be near cousins and friends, to escape the continuing fallout of her parents’ spectacular divorce, and to daydream about Ryder. Who cares about three years age difference when they’re both in their twenties? Making the first move feels risky, but it might be worth it.
Fragile trust could come to a screeching halt if Carey discovers the investigation Ryder can’t derail. Is truth compatible with trust and love?
Trust Me With Your Heart, Cowboy is available on Amazon, in Kindle Unlimited, and in paperback.

I’m currently reading this series and LOVING it! I even shared about it in my last newsletter, so hopefully that send more readers your way.
Thank you SO much, Dawn! I’m honored.
