Haven’t seen me much around social media? That might be because I’ve had my head down to make progress on a a variety of projects, and on my days off — yes, I’ve had some of those as well! — I’ve tended not to have much internet time.
So what’s been keeping me so busy? You’ll see I’ve added some progress bars to the blog, over on the right sidebar, so you can follow along and see how I’m doing. But for now, here’s a recap!
Urban Farm Fresh Romances
Secrets of Sunbeams (Book 1)
During August, I’ve been listening to the audiobook of Secrets of Sunbeams, chapter by chapter, and providing feedback to my new narrator, Jae Huff. I expect the audiobook to be for sale on iTunes, Audible, and Amazon by mid-September. Meanwhile, sales are ticking along on both the e-book and the paperback. Thank you!
Butterflies on Breezes (Book 2)
During August, I received my files back from my editor, implemented the changes, set up the pre-order, formatted the book in both e-book and paperback, and released it in e-book. The paperback is a bit behind because I just sent my cover designer the page count, needed info so she knows how wide to make the spine. Butterflies on Breezes released on Tuesday in e-book. Readers are enjoying it, according to the reviews on Amazon, iBooks, and Nook. Thank you!
Memories of Mist (Book 3)
Early in August, I took a couple of days to write, polish, and edit the first chapter of Memories of Mist so that I could tuck it in the back of Butterflies on Breezes. Now I can hardly wait to get back to Adriana and Myles and see how their story will develop! Alas, it has to wait its turn. I hope to start it in November for a March release, but no promises just yet. Because…
Secret Project
I actually have a multi-part secret project happening these days, as you can see from the progress bars on the right. The first part, written from early July to mid-August is in the bag, and I’ll soon be shifting to the second part. You’ll have to be patient for The Great Unveiling, though. It’s probably two months away still. Sigh. Meanwhile, you can keep an eye on the progress bar and see how things are going!
Christmas in Montana
More Than a Tiara (Book 1)
If you’ve read Snowflake Tiara since its release in 2014, you’ve read More Than a Tiara. In August, I went through the manuscript with a light edit in preparation for rereleasing it as the first book in my Christmas in Montana Romance series, planned for early October. I also needed to reacquaint myself with the characters and the story world of Helena, Montana, in preparation for writing the second book!
Oh, and I also approved the new cover! Isn’t it gorgeous?!?
Other Than a Halo (Book 2)
This became my primary work-in-progress once Secret Project 1 was completed, and good progress is being made in this Autumn-Christmas romance between Bren Haddock and Rob Santoro, formerly of Bridgeview. I’m having fun series-hopping, bringing together the worlds of the Urban Farm Fresh Romance series and the Christmas in Montana series. I expect to release Other Than a Halo at the beginning of November.
And if all that weren’t enough…
I’ve been poking at TWO OTHER projects that I’d abandoned several years ago when I began publishing independently. I’m now trying to determine when and where and how to rejuvenate them. Because, you know, I have lots of spare time.
Are you tired yet? I am. Must be naptime.
