Family Christmas
It was great having everyone home for the better part of Christmas week. It snowed most days, which was okay *most* days. More photos to follow. Hope you had a happy Christmas surrounded by those you love and remembering what is important in life and eternity.

I am *such* an optimist!
I believe I said that this week the words would be flying by. Anyone see them? What plane did they catch? Cause only about 3K settled down here, which is a far cry from the 10-15 I was hoping for. And really, I only procrastinated one day of the four away. There have been a…

There’s more to life!
Although the main focus of this blog is the written word, there is more to my life than writing and reading. More than walking, too, though it does take up 1.5-2 hours of nearly every day for me since I joined a few friends last year in an online walking blog. I’m currently about 2/3…

Off on vacation for a week
As mentioned a few days ago, hubby and I are up at the crack of dawn tomorrow (comes mighty early this time of year) for a 4:30 am start to our trip. Gulp. We have cards and gifts from various folks in our church to give our friend Rick in the hospital, and hope to…

Wow! What a great job. She is talented.
Fantanstic job! I’ll show them to my daughter; I’m sure that’s something she’d enjoy!
Those are really cute!
A lot of what my daughter paints (oils and digital) is fantasy; her dream is to design book covers. She works hard on it, but this is the first year she’s done a lot of windows in her town. Several other contracts, too, and she could have had more but she does work a 40 hour a week job without the windows.
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous!
Maybe you’ll both be lucky and some day, she’ll do a cover for one of your books.
