Family Reunion
Do you love your family? I do. I really do. Of course, I rarely get to see most of my sisters, and even less often, their kids and grandkids. When you come from a missionary family, that’s just part of the landscape. This was our first family reunion at Christmas in 1985. Our second ever…

Welcome to Our Jellybean!
Our fourth granddaughter was born on February 2, 2017. I got to see her when she was just a few hours old. I took the shot above, looking down at her nestled in my arm. Jellybean has two big sisters. Rosalie turned five the day after Jellybean’s birth. Sweetpea will be seven at the end…

Back from camping
We spent four days camping along this lake in a group of nearly fifty of hubby’s extended family. There was lots of fishing, swimming, canoeing and just goofing off in the water. The water temperature was about 73 degrees Fahreheit so pleasant on these hot days. The first night I was too hot to sleep…

A May Hike!
Since hubby started geocaching a few months ago, we’ve gone on a few excursions and want to do more. The last couple caches were practically beside the parking lot, and we wanted to find places that required a hike-in. We sure found one of those today! First we drove up the mountain near our house,…

I am *such* an optimist!
I believe I said that this week the words would be flying by. Anyone see them? What plane did they catch? Cause only about 3K settled down here, which is a far cry from the 10-15 I was hoping for. And really, I only procrastinated one day of the four away. There have been a…
