Have a look at this Amazon.com page! Color me excited, even though release is still months away. 😀
The basic page had been up for a few weeks. After awhile, the book cover image was added. Then, a bit more information. Wednesday my name was linked as one of the book’s authors, and the anthology blurb showed up.
This means I spent some time creating my Amazon Central author page. (This also means I’m remembering, once again, that it’s beyond time to get some pro headshots done…)
I also created an associate page. This simply means that if you click on the link in my website, taking you to the Amazon page, and then you pre-order the book, I get a wee kickback. Having an associate account also allowed me to create the carousel widget in the sidebar. Maybe someday there will be more than one book showing in it. (One can hope.)
So, what can YOU do to promote Rainbow’s End on Amazon?
1. You can pre-order it.
2. You can ‘like’ it.
3. You can scoot down the page to the ‘tags’ section and press ‘agree’ to the existing tags. This will help people who are searching for books using keywords to find books that match their criteria.
4. You can scope out books by my co-authors by clicking on their names and seeing what else they’ve written. Some awesome titles!
Note to Canadians: Amazon.ca is not yet listing full details about the collection. It’s also not yet listing me as an author. It’s coming soon, so keep checking back!
