Ruby Dale is a 911 dispatcher by day (or night!) and a competitive long distance rider by…whatever time is left. She has her sights set on the Wyoming 100…and on veterinarian Chuck Sullivan.
When Ruby and Chuck spot two men way off the trail on a ride prepping part of the trail the week before the endurance competition, they wonder what’s going on. But when a freak accident happens to the reigning champ of the Wyoming 100, things turn ugly.
If you like contemporary western romantic tales with a touch of suspense, you might enjoy the novella Trail to Justice, the first of three stories in Wyoming Weddings. I’d hoped to have all three stories read before writing a review, but due to a bit less than average reading time and the fact that I’m having to set this post several days in advance (as we’re on vacation this week!), I’ll just admit this time I may be doing these reviews one at a time.
Susan Page Davis writes romantic suspense, historical romance, and mystery. She is a Maine native now living in Kentucky, and a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers. Susan homeschooled her six children, and now enjoys her grandchildren. She’s always loved reading, history, genealogy, and horses, and has even taken a farrier course.
