We just got home from our vacation late last night. There were so many highlights in the past week it was hard to choose just one to feature as this week’s smile. However, Jim and I spent a couple of days camping at a remote lake, just the two of us, and it was a much-needed refresher.

Last weekend I attended Inland Northwest Christian Writer’s Conference for the fourth year. This year I was honored to represent Choose Now Publishing and talk to writers about whether their projects might fit our line. The conference theme was The Big Picture, and puzzle pieces abounded everywhere…even at the lunch tables!
I had an interview with the local paper a week or so ago. I never expected to hit the front page!
My smile this week is summed up with these THREE smiles! So very blessed this past weekend to do several events with my co-author, Angela Breidenbach. Here we are with my daughter Hanna (our cover designer) who hosted a Snowflake Tea for us at her church. Why, yes, Angela and I *did* wear our tiaras…
Here is my biggest smile so far this week. And a few other faces, too. Majai’s Fury is now available in paperback as well as Kindle.
This week we’re harvesting walnuts! What a bumper crop, around one hundred pounds so far. If they land still encased in their green husk, we just step on them and slide the husk off. Guess I will need more walnut recipes.
