This week we’re harvesting walnuts! What a bumper crop, around one hundred pounds so far. If they land still encased in their green husk, we just step on them and slide the husk off. Guess I will need more walnut recipes.

Indeed! I’ve lived far from my cousins most of my life, but seeing the joy my kids have in theirs and being delighted by the friendship between my little granddaughters has given me a new appreciation for cousins!
