This week we’re harvesting walnuts! What a bumper crop, around one hundred pounds so far. If they land still encased in their green husk, we just step on them and slide the husk off. Guess I will need more walnut recipes.

Yesterday my husband and I went up into the mountains to cut our Christmas tree. Our son, daughter-in-law, and 2.5 year-old granddaughter joined us.
