My big smile this week was picking raspberries with my two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter on November 8. We gobbled up about a cup’s worth! Not anything I’ve ever experienced in November before.

Yesterday my husband and I went up into the mountains to cut our Christmas tree. Our son, daughter-in-law, and 2.5 year-old granddaughter joined us. After finding two “perfect” trees, we stopped off at a campsite where Grandpa started a little fire so we could roast hot dogs. Definitely the kind of day memories are made…

Is it because raspberries aren’t usually about this late? Because otherwise I know that’s tongue in cheek :). BTW, was talking about your raspberry and vinegar with my family tonight. I mention a similar beverage in A Country Masquerade, but they just called them vinegars back then.
