The garden is in full swing these days! Today’s haul: a lot of green beans, two eggplant, a few dozen cherry tomatoes, and a baby zucchini. (I left the super-sized zucchini to grate for the freezer later!)
When there’s so much good food straight from the garden, we could (almost) become vegetarians. But not. I panfried some sausage, sauteed the green beans, and made a tomato-cucumber salad. The eggplant and zucchini will get their turn tomorrow.
