I love my book covers, and many of you have said you do, too. But isn’t it always nice to get affirmation from an outsider? Joel Friedlander critiques book cover submissions once a month on his blog, The Book Designer. He doesn’t pull any punches. If he thinks your cover stinks, he’ll tell you so. I’ve been submitting my book covers for a while now. He usually has something cautiously nice to say about each submission. But, finally this week, an elusive gold star!
