I spent a few days earlier this week visiting my sister and her family, who live near Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. Here are a few of the highlights of the trip thus far. We went for a walk at a lakeside state park near Milwaukee, and this gull posed for me. I snapped a bunch of photos as I got closer and closer. This was the gull’s favorite pose:
Here’s some of the walkway along the Third Ward arts district:
We followed the River Walk for a few blocks:
We also spent some time along the waterfront south toward Kenosha:
The lighthouse in Kenosha is particularly cool:
Isn’t it great spending time with family and catching up?
Wednesday I connected up with Nicole O’Dell and headed toward St. Louis for conference, which is where I am right now. Oh the miracles of scheduling blog posts a few days in advance! I’ll share some of the conference’s highlights over the next Friday or two. What have you been up to?
